About Alisa Meledy
I was born in far, cold Russia, and from the beginning I was obsessed with two things: music, and photography. My first camera was a little Samsung film one at seven years old. Five years later I found my dad’s Canon in his closet and quietly borrowed it almost every day. That camera changed my life, and I have never really put one down since.
Hi, I'm Alisa. I've been capturing people since I was a girl with a borrowed camera.
By high school I was the girl who photographed everyone. What I loved was watching people laugh, kiss, run and dance, and trying to catch it before it passed, to show them how beautiful they are simply being themselves. Photography taught me to notice the smallest things about a person, the details they might never have seen in the mirror.
Today I bring that same eye to couples, weddings, portraits, families and travel sessions across the Riviera Maya, from Playa del Carmen to Tulum, and wherever else the work takes me in the world. Beyond single images, I help clients shape whole brands and the way they show up online. My style is film-inspired and editorial: soft tones, a warm, cinematic feeling, always in service of the moment rather than on top of it.
For me, photography was never only about beautiful pictures. It is about making a space where people feel comfortable, confident and connected, and truly themselves.

Languages
Bookings and sessions in English, Spanish and Russian. I also speak Japanese and lead small photography trips to Japan twice a year, in spring and autumn.
